Exclusive Features for Specific Platforms
EAPX Cloud
Business Intelligence Reporting Dashboard (Insight). Available with preset templates and the ability for users to create their own.
Scheduled Reporting for daily/weekly/monthly standard reports.
OKTA Integration. Windows customers can still use Email, SMS, or Azure AD for MFA.
EAP Expert Win Desktop
Run time User Interface (UI) Customization. As opposed to EAPX Cloud that will require a separate application to perform any UI Customizations by EAPX.
Known Issue with EAPX Cloud
Web Browsers
As with many other web applications, refreshing the browser / pressing browser back button may cause unexpected behavior with EAPX Cloud. If this happens, then it can be addressed by clicking the browser Refresh button. It is recommended to not click on the browser refresh / back button.
Safari browser may display the layout incorrectly. We recommend the use of either Edge, Chrome, or the Firefox browsers.
Specific Client File Layout
The following 2 files are not part of our standard Client File Type offerings:
Onsite File / Onsite Organization Services Layout is incorrect. This file type is currently not supported by EAPX Cloud. We plan to support this file type by mid 2024.
Work Life Service Client File Layout is incorrect. This is expected as “Work Life Service Client File” is an exclusive customization for a customer. Please use “Work Life Client File”.
General UI Layout
Cloud does not have the “New” button for Custom Fields (e.g., Presenting Problem, Resolution). To streamline the UI and User Authorization, Custom Fields creation centralized in Tools → Custom Fields.
List View Action Button is located at top right of the list view; as opposed to the Windows version where it is located on the top left. This is expected and there is no functionality difference between Web & Win as only the layout is different.
Using the keyboard “Tab” button to navigate the form elements may cause an unintended selection if the UI layout is modified. It is recommended to use the mouse to select the intended items if tabbing results in an unintended selection.
Multi Tab functionality in Client File (activated by “Tab Count” > 0 in Program Options) has a few limitations such as using the right mouse button clicking “Set as Default” option that may not working properly.
In a search (e.g. Clinical Search), a multi-checkbox with no options selected means no filter will be applied. To search all entries, leave the multi-checkbox empty. If multiple multi-check boxes have all options selected, it may cause a SQL limit error due to the maximum number of parameters SQL can accept.
Scheduler
EAPX Win allows users to create new Personal Appointments by typing directly in the calendar time slot. For EAPX Cloud, users must right mouse click over the time slot and choose the “Add Personal” option.
Yearly recurrence pattern on EAPX Cloud does not have an option to recur biennial, triennial, etc. In the unlikely that you need to create these recurrences, please create separate events for each year and the appointments will occur.
When opening a File thru scheduler, the breadcrumb will not be carried over. The breadcrumb will still be available in your existing (not new) tab.
