We recommend using the email and text message tools within a client’s file instead. Messages sent this way are automatically tracked in the Communication Hub module.


Open a new email to the selected client

When you encounter email hyperlinks in module search results or directly within a file, please take advantage of their convenience by clicking on them!

  • This action seamlessly opens a new email, allowing you to promptly compose and send messages to the respective individual(s).

If you do not see a pop-up, it may mean that you need to select a default email program:


Send an email to a client utilizing the outgoing email feature

Follow these quick and easy steps to send an email from EAP Expert Cloud:

  • Click the New button from the top menu bar

  • Select Outgoing Email

  • From the pop-up, click on the people icon in the ‘To’ field

  • Please search for the client and click on the line item to select them as the intended recipient

  • Click the OK button

    • Notice the pop-up closes and the email address is entered into the ‘To’ field

  • Provide a 'Subject' and upload any pertinent 'Attachments'

    • Send Email Individually: If you are sending an email to multiple clients, enable this checkbox to ensure each recipient receives the email separately, maintaining privacy by preventing visibility into other recipients.

  • Compose your email message in the provided open text box

  • Select the Send Email button to dispatch your message

Tip: To verify the successful delivery of your email, check the 'Sent Email' section in the Tools menu; your sent email should be listed there.


Troubleshooting Tips

Here are a few tips for using the outgoing email function in EAP Expert Cloud:

  • Review Email Content: Double-check the content of your email for any errors or missing information. Ensure that all required fields are filled out before attempting to send.

  • Spam or Junk Folder: Providers may need to check their spam or junk folder, as sometimes emails can be filtered there unintentionally.

  • Verify Email Functionality: Send a test email to yourself using the EAP Expert Cloud's built-in feature. Navigate to Options > Email Options > click the 'Test Email Settings' button to ensure proper functionality.

  • User Permissions: Ensure you have the necessary permissions to send and verify emails have been sent. Sometimes, permission settings can restrict specific actions within the software.

If an issue persists, contact your system administrator(s) for assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on the software's features and any known issues.
