High-Risk Protocol

EAP Expert Cloud provides a crucial feature that allows team members to access high-risk protocols directly from the software system.

This capability ensures swift access to specific instructions when handling high-risk situations, streamlining the platform's response process for effective crisis intervention.

Important: If you require this feature not configured in your EAP Expert Cloud system, kindly contact your system administrator(s) for assistance.

To access the high-risk protocol established by your EAP, initiate the process by clicking the Request Service button on the top menu bar:

  • Click the High-Risk button

  • Select Yes to the question, ‘Are you sure you want to initiate high-risk protocol?’

  • When the ‘High-Risk Information’ window pops up, complete the basic client information and review the tabs for instructions when handling this high-risk situation: ‘EAP Info,’ ‘Organization Info,’ and ‘Risk Assessment’

  • Click OK to move to the next step

  • The ‘Client File Search’ will initiate to check if this client already has a record in your EAP Expert Cloud system. Click Search to review results against existing records

  • Choose the most fitting option to proceed with documenting this interaction:

    • Add File to Selected Client: This will add a new case to an existing client file.

    • Go to Selected File: This will take you directly to the client’s file.

    • Create a New File: Create a new client file with a case.

  • Continue your workflow and documentation process in EAP Expert Cloud

Tip: Verify that the "High Risk" checkmark is visible on the client file. It will distinguish this case in search results and alert others to its high-risk nature.

Additionally, this facilitates efficient management by allowing you to search for high-risk cases directly from the Client File search.

  • Click Save to save your work and continue working on the file, or Save and Close to save changes and exit the client file


Troubleshooting Information

Here are a few troubleshooting tips when it comes to accessing this feature:

  • Check Permissions: Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access high-risk protocols. If you encounter permission issues, contact your system administrator(s).

  • Refresh or Re-login: If the protocol is not displaying correctly, try refreshing the page by clicking on the EAP Expert logo or logging out and logging back into the Cloud software.

  • Clear Browser Cache: Outdated or cached information may cause issues. Clear your browser cache to ensure you are loading the latest version of the high-risk protocol.

If issues persist, contact your system administrator(s) for assistance. Provide details about the problem you are experiencing for a more targeted resolution.
